I was recently down in New Orleans for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. An event took place at Generations Hall on May Day (1st of May) called The New Orleans Musicians for Obama. Some of the regions most talented performers came out to support and play their music. I was given the opportunity to set up a portrait studio at the event. I tried to tell the story of the event through the portraits. I shot portraits from 6 pm until 2:30 am. We used pins, cards, American Flags and other props. The result are the images you see here.
