With Instrumenthead picking up steam as exhibits in various locations around the US and Spain keep us plenty busy, it’s any wonder we were able to spend two weeks in any one place. However, teaming up again with our exclusive print partner Jakprints, we did just that with a pop-up Instrumenthead exhibit at King Dusko in Charleston, SC during the Spoleto Festival. Gallery owners McKenzie Eddy and Dan Dickey opened up their burgeoning event space for us to take over May 30th – June 8th with musical events and photo shoots running throughout. Team Dusko did a killer job of driving traffic our way, even hosting the local ABC News affiliate as they spotlit our event. It’s amazing to be able to take Instrumenthead almost anywhere and have the response be so positive. Even better is being able to always leave something behind. This event benefitted the Music Maker Relief Foundation, a non-profit setting out to preserve and promote the wellbeing of musicians carrying on traditional Southern music.
