Bluegrass and country artist Carl Jackson joined up with Glen Campbell at age 19 and spent the next 12 years in Campbell’s band.
Won his first Grammy® Award in 1992 for his duet album with John Starling, Spring Training and won another as producer of a tribute to Ira and Charlie Louvin, Livin’, Lovin’, Losin: Songs of the Louvin Brothers.
- Charted three singles on the Billboard country music charts as a songwriter, was named Bluegrass music’s MVP in 2006 and has been honored by the Mississippi Humanities Council for his contribution to their musical culture.
