Futureman Instrumenthead

Roy Wooten, aka Futureman, is an inventor, musician, composer and percussionist in Béla Fleck and the Flecktones where he plays the Drumitar, an electronic drum of his own creation.

Recently Wooten has developed an electronic instrument dubbed the RoyEl based on the Periodic Table of Elements and the Golden Ratio akin to piano but plays notes not found in traditional western music.
